Today I took a Covid test and was found to be negative. What a relief. That means that tomorrow I am leaving to go to Cuzco with my fellow travelers. We are going to go on the Inca Trail and see Machu Pichu and then to Rainbow Mountain. I am hoping that this will be as exciting and as fascinating as I expect. If you do not hear from me for a few days, well it is because I will be out of signal range and hopefully enjoying myself so much that I will not have any time to blog. Time will tell.
Tonight Lewis and I will be going out for our 40th wedding anniversary. It was really yesterday, but last night we were still in quarantine. We were at least together, but isolated from everyone else. Not too bad, I happen to still like the guy after all these years.
I must say that if I had to have Covid and I had to quarantine this was the place to do it. It was so much better than if I was home. Here at least I had something to look forward to, things I want to do, places I want to see. It engendered in me a real desire to get out and start to live life to its fullest.
