START OF MY JOURNEY
Peru is exciting, young, alive, and with great food. Have only seen a small portion of the city of Lima, but what I have seen so far indicates that I will go home loving this country.
Peru is exciting, young, alive, and with great food. Have only seen a small portion of the city of Lima, but what I have seen so far indicates that I will go home loving this country.
First to Peru and then to eleven more countries. I have my meds; I can travel. I am more than excited!
My tests show that my cancer is not advancing and that my white blood cells are normal. Yipeeeeeeeeeee.
With Stage 4 cancer you will have to make many decisions. Make the best one for you, others may want you around, but that in and of itself is not a reason to live.
I am well, at least my blood tests say I am. Next month I go get a Pet Scan in order to be sure.
Monteverde is a small town, really a small town with two major reserves. the Curi-Cancha Reserve and the Monte Verde Reserve.
We are now in Nosara, Guanacaste Province. This is where we are looking at a development in order to perhaps buy a property and build a home.
Today is my birthday. I am now 66 years old as of today. I am thrilled to have another birthday to get another year under my belt, but getting old sucks. However it is better than the alternative. Happy Birthday to me and many more to come!
Santa Teresa is a bustling town. It has many restaurants, bars, and stores and if it was not so crowded, it would be a great place to be. But, and I mean But, the streets are hair raising to walk on and drive on.
My story; I am a 65 year old woman with stage 4 cancer. My plans are to travel for 12 months and visit at least 12 countries. Hopefully you will join me on this adventure via this blog.
Live life now, tomorrow is not guaranteed!
