I came home to Miami to get a blood test and to see my doctor. I had a blood test on Monday and saw my doctor on Wednesday. My doctor stated that my cancer markers are stable and he sees no reason to change my medication at this time and that there is no necessity to get a Pet Scan. He did say that I should get a Cat Scan in an abundance of caution, because I am continuing on my travels as originally planned. So Friday I went and got a Cat Scan.
I left for Mexico City the following day and I am waiting for the results of the Cat Scan. Being that it is a holiday weekend, I will not get the results until Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest.
I am thrilled about what the doctor had to say, but at the same time a bit nervous regarding the results of the Scan. That is why there is a question mark in the title above.
By the way Mexico City is enormous. It is bigger then New York City and looks a bit like New York City 30 years ago. I cannot say much more regarding this City, because we arrived late last night. It seemed safe when we walked around last night to go to dinner and their coffee was great this morning. I will definitely keep you posted.
